Insurance Coverage in Ontario
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), our services are covered by many extended health benefit plans. Most major insurers in Ontario include psychotherapy in their mental health coverage, though the specific amount and number of sessions varies by plan.
We recommend checking with your insurer before your first session to confirm your coverage. A detailed receipt is provided after each session that you can submit for reimbursement. If you have questions about whether your plan covers our services, feel free to reach out and we will help you figure it out.
Common Questions About Fees
Our fees are $150 for individual sessions, $165 for couples sessions, and $210 for family sessions. All sessions are 50 minutes and delivered through secure video.
Many extended health plans in Ontario cover services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. Coverage varies by provider and plan, so it is best to confirm your specific benefits directly with your insurer. A receipt is provided after each session for reimbursement.
We offer direct billing for eligible plans and programs. Eligibility and availability are confirmed based on your specific coverage, so reach out through our booking portal or contact form and we will confirm the options available to you.
Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, as much notice as possible is appreciated so the time can be offered to someone else. The specific cancellation window is reviewed with you before your first session.
There is no fixed answer. It depends entirely on what you are working through and your goals. Some clients come for a handful of sessions around a specific issue; others stay longer for deeper work. We revisit your goals together and you are always in control of the pace.
Our therapist is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). This means you are receiving care from a regulated professional held to strict ethical and practice standards in Ontario.
